Peter Mitchell called the meeting to order at 7:07 PM
Special Meeting to review New Tank and Tank Bonding.
A qualified voter checklist must be created an old one was found and must be updated.
Should the vote be by Secret Ballot and should it take place in the United Church and would the polls have to be open from 7:00 to 7:00 for the day. More research will be done on this question.
Warning must be posted 30 days prior and 2 weeks prior in the newspaper.
February 17 and 18th were tentative dates for Informational Meetings at the United Church.
Possibly get a construction loan with the Merchants Bank.
Revolving loan application brought by Alan.
Decided it would be best to bond only once so make it include our previous loan.
Peter to check with Paul Guiliani about what we need to do for our Bond Vote.
Proposal was received from Phelps and discussed with Alan. Alan is to find out what the cost would be to put in a pressurized main. Alan to get a Act 250 write off for the district.
Reports from Phelps to be studied and voted on at the next meeting.
Phelps agreed that it would be OK for the district to allot $5,000.00 for them to continue until the Bond vote is done.
Proposal from Phelps to be reviewed by Vince Paradis and he will suggest any changes that need to be made.
