1. Call to Order and Welcome. Joe O’Brien called the meeting to order at 6:01 p.m. The Agenda was adopted as printed.
2. Review and approval of minutes of previous meeting(s). Minutes from the May meeting were approved. Steve asked if the flushing was done at the end of May. Joe said he would check.
3. Review and approval of financial statements. The financial statements for May were approved.
4. Customer Comments.
Joe had an inquiry from an engineer installing a pressurized sprinkler system at Brown’s River. He wanted to know about hydrant pressure. It is a six inch service line.
Our mowers were mowing near the Maple Ridge tank. Gravel had come onto the grass by the tank. There is about two yards of stone and gravel from the road. Joe will call Rusty Clark to see if they can do some trenching.
5. Operations Report.
Test Results and Testing.
Bacteria results negative.
Fluoride results within tolerance.
Routine testing and operations.
6. Old Business.
A. Brian has been working on the O&M Manual. There are a couple points left. Should be able to check off soon.
B. The Poker Hill generator replacement is scheduled for June 9.
C. Joe has had no response from ECI on the hydrant replacement. Joe will check with them.
D. For the painting, Liam would like a deposit of $600.00 for materials. A motion for the payment was approved.
Steve has the door and frame for the storage building.
Joe said Brian found someone to pick up the junk outside the pumphouse and the barrels. It is going to cost $500.00 for the work.
7. New Business.
A. The tank inspections are June 24. Brian and Joe haven’t found how to get into the cistern. The lock is broken. There is a locking system inside. The whole handle has rusted off. Joe will talk with Brian about drilling out. Hopefully Steve and Brian can be there for the inspections. Joe will also alert Marc.
B. Tanner did some digging on the lead copper requirements. There are 197 unknowns. There is a number to call with questions. Joe will call. We have a fairly new system which should have copper or plastic connections. There should not be any old connections. Tanner said he can get addresses. There are two sites you can access. People just need to look next to their meter and reply. Send out a notice with the next billing?
C. The Consumer Confidence Report notice was divided between Joe, Steve and Tanner. It will be delivered before July 1. A notice will go out with the July 1 billing.
D. The Source Protection Plan is due November, 2027. Joe said Marc said he would help and has since sent an e-mail that he doesn’t want to. Lane Simon from SOS has a contact. Joe will look at and contact Lane. It wants the changes in usage.
Joe will talk to Brian about weed whacking around the hydrants.
8. Next Regular Meeting. Next regular meeting August 4, 2026, at 6:00 p.m.
9. Review and Approve Bills. Bills were reviewed and approved.
Adjournment. The regular meeting was adjourned at 6:40 p.m.
