1. Call to Order and Welcome. Joe O’Brien called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. The Agenda was amended by addition of E (coverage for testing 2/25-3/4) and F (fire) to New Business. The Agenda was adopted as amended.
2. Review and approval of minutes of previous meeting(s). Minutes from the January meeting were approved. Joe said he had the seminar on managing facilities tomorrow.
3. Review and approval of financial statements. The entries under disconnection fees need to be changed to collection fees. The financial reports for January were approved.
4. Customer Comments.
Steve talked to Tonya Fields about her invoice. Joe will recalculate and have Brian follow up.
The Carters are running a line in the bathroom to prevent freezing.
Joe adjusted the Jorschick invoices.
The police officer’s wife on Raceway Road told Joe they had dirty water.
Giammanco complained about the $56.26 charge. Nancy told him what the charge was for and then Joe explained it to him.
5. Operations Report.
Test Results and Testing.
Bacteria results negative.
Fluoride results within tolerance.
Routine testing and operations.
Joe said Brian had lots of hours running the pumps.
Nancy received a call that the fluoride is testing low. Brian will look at it.
There have been no alarms at the cistern. Champlin tried to fix it, but the conduit was frozen.
Brian said the Poker Hill generator had low compression. It is getting pretty old. How many years does it have left? Could we get a deal on two generators?
6. Old Business.
A. Nothing on United Church.
B. We are waiting on the hydrant replacement.
C. The chlorine analyzer was installed.
D. The controls and transducer will be installed later in spring.
7. New Business.
A. Steve hasn’t heard from Brian for purchases. Joe will ask Brian to contact Steve. Where would anything be put?
B. Will make it down to the storage building in the spring.
C. Joe sent the application for the survey grant. It is a lottery based on age, etc.
D. Joe signed the form for the Mill. They had JUWD as a co-applicant. Joe signed, but told them we are not part of it. The forms for the Town have been submitted and they are done with the State.
E. Brian will be skiing out west from February 17 through March 4. Joe will be gone from February 25 to March 4. Joe will coordinate with Brian on training for the testing, which is done three times a week. Joe will cover February 17 through February 24 and Steve or Tanner will cover February 25 through March 4.
F. Joe received a call at 6:58 a.m. from an auxiliary firefighter that they used the hydrant at the bottom of Park and River.
8. Next Regular Meeting. Next regular meeting March 11, 2025 at 6:00 p.m.
9. Review and Approve Bills. Bills were reviewed and approved.
Adjournment. The regular meeting was adjourned at 6:41 p.m.
