1.   Call to Order and Welcome.  Joe O’Brien called the meeting to order at 6:01 p.m.  The Agenda was adopted as presented.

2.   Review and approval of minutes of previous meeting(s).  Minutes from the April and May meetings were approved.

3.   Review and approval of financial statements.  The financial reports for May were approved.

4.   Customer Comments.  Joe heard from two of three people about the postcards.  He told them that if there were not done, someone would be knocking on their door later.

Steve will talk to the owners of the brown house next to his about flushing.  They did not do the hydrant by Dumas.  He will contact them before they flush it.

Tracy Martin said the couplings on the meter are galvanized and rusted out.  Joe is meeting with him tomorrow.  Tracey told his plumber.

5.   Operations Report.

Test Results and Testing.

Bacteria results negative.

Fluoride results within tolerance.

Routine testing and operations.

Brian will work on the chlorine analyzer when he gets back.

Joe said it took an hour to flush the pumphouse before it got clear.  It took a half hour near the white house by Villeneuve.  The control building will be flushed quarterly.

6.   Old Business.

A.  Nothing new on the Mill Development.

B.  The United Church has applied for a federal infrastructure grant for appropriate street.  Underhill Town is not accepting any new roads.  It looks like a private & street.

A motion was made on the allocation request for the houses to be put in the development.  The motion was approved.

C.  The generator repairs were made.  It was about $2,800.00.

D.  Brian is out until the first week of August.  Nancy will ask Andy if he will do the June readings.

7.   New Business.

A.    Marc has sent e-mails out for the hydrant replacement.  We have not received any bids for the work.  Joe will check with CWD for who they use.  Three of the people Marc contacted have not called back.  He mailed them drawings.

Joe wrote to Lane Simon for any leads.  Joe will talk with Marc again for any others that may do the work

B.  Postcards have gone out.  Fortunately, we have good records in files and the website.  The company did a survey of the lines and there was no lead.  Do not know how long people have to do the information before they start knocking on doors.

C.  Summer repairs are tight with Brian gone.  Joe told Steve to spend the money on safety items.

D.  Bartlett requested to disconnect.  It is the white house on the corner of Park Street.  They hired a contractor to dig holes between the well and the house.  They couldn’t find the pipes to the well.  Joe and Brian blew the mud out.  They decided to stay on our system.

8. Next Regular Meeting.  Next regular meeting July 2, 2024 at 6:00 p.m.

9. Review and Approve Bills.  Bills were reviewed and approved.
