1. Call to Order and Welcome. Joe O’Brien called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. The Agenda was adopted as presented.
2. Review and approval of minutes of previous meeting(s). Minutes from the April meeting were approved.
3. Review and approval of financial statements. The financial reports for April were approved.
4. Customer Comments. Joe spoke with Cyndi Listenik two weeks ago Sunday about brown water. He told her to run the water for a few minutes and it cleared up.
5. Operations Report.
Operator’s Report.
Bacteria results negative.
Fluoride results within tolerance.
Routine testing and operations.
From Brian’s report, it was asked how long the one cup overflow from the cistern was there on April 7. Was there chlorine in the leak?
The power poles were all marked and placed. They didn’t hurt the water lines.
6. Old Business.
A. Nothing new on the Mill Development.
B. Nothing new on United Church. In front of the Development Review Board.
C. For the tank cleaning, we are waiting to team up with Simon.
D. For the sanitary survey, Joe talked with Lane (owner of Simon). They purchased a pressure gauge to set up on 70 Maple Ridge to measure the pressure after the water enters the house and record the data. Simon will set it up. The gauge cost around $600.00. We may be able to buy it or Simone may keep it to use. Joe has had no contact with 70 Maple Ridge. He may stop by tonight on the way home. Joe hasn’t heard anymore from Kevin or Sue.
7. New Business.
A. For the hydrant flushing, Simon said to do it ourselves if we can. Brian is available after May 15. Joe, Steve and Tanner are available to help on the 15th, 16th or 17th. Joe will check with Brian. For flushing the ones we don’t know, they are afraid of washouts. The fire hose will be used. Joe will check with the Post Office for a cost of mailing notices. Will also check on the price of a sandwich board to put up. The notice will also be on Front Porch Forum and the website.
B. The notice regarding the Consumer Confidence Report will go out with the June billing. Joe will check on the wording. Joe, Steve and Tanner will deliver the report to the tenants in mid-June. The report will be on the website.
8. Next Regular Meeting. Next regular meeting June 6, 2023 at 6:00 p.m.
9. Review and Approve Bills. Bills were reviewed and approved.
Adjournment. The regular meeting was adjourned at 6:40 p.m.
