1. Call to Order and Welcome. Joe O’Brien called the meeting to order at 6:02 p.m. Joe asked to amend the agenda by the addition of roofing storage building to Paragraph 7. New Business. The Agenda was adopted as amended.
2. Review and approval of minutes of previous meeting(s). Minutes from the May meeting were approved.
3. Review and approval of financial statements. The financial reports for May were approved.
4. Customer Comments. Bob Stratton said his meter was leaking. Brian replaced the meter.
Lee Dumas asked to have the hydrant in front of his house flushed. Brian did the flushing.
5. Operations Report.
Operator’s Report.
Bacteria results negative.
Fluoride results within tolerance.
Routine testing and operations.
From Brian’s report, Tanner asked how long the one cup overflow from the cistern was there.
Brian checked Guay’s meter to see if it was recording properly.
6. Old Business.
A. Nothing new on the Mill Development. Engineering was done about septic – having a green building with a deal with the school?
B. Nothing new on United Church. Two lots harrowed on hillside?
C. For the sanitary survey, Joe received a note from an engineer friend of Sugar Hill resident. If the pump was before 2007, it should be grandfathered in. Joe spoke with Lane and he said to find something in writing. Joe found information from 1986 when it was put in and sent it to Lane. Lane will talk to the people from the State. Joe hasn’t heard back from him. Hopefully we will not have to do anything.
7. New Business.
A. Brian did the flushing by himself with a diffuser. He did the hydrants by the plan we have. He did the hydrants by Guays and Dumas. The hydrant by the pumphouse took a long time to clear out. Joe did receive one call asking about the second day. Brian will do the hydrant near the Guays every other month.
B. Joe gave the Consumer Confidence Report to Tanner for distribution and will give to Steve. Joe has his list. They will distribute this month to tenants. The remaining ones will go out with the June billing.
C. Steve sent Joe pictures of the storage building off Old Farmhouse Road. Some of the shingles blew off. Steve will purchase four packages of shingles and will redo it. Joe had trouble with the lock on the building and Brian worked on it.
There was a meeting of owners on Old Farmhouse Road regarding the old drainage ditch. We own where the creek (ditch) enters the river. There is an understanding with the lot owners that we will maintain our part of the ditch and the other owners will maintain their portion. There are three different owners to the left of our right of way.
Joe and Steve checked for beavers and did not see any activity.
8. Next Regular Meeting. Next regular meeting July 11, 2023 at 6:00 p.m.
9. Review and Approve Bills. Bills were reviewed and approved.
Adjournment. The regular meeting was adjourned at 6:35 p.m.
Respectfully submitted,
Nancy Benson, Clerk/Treasurer
