1. Call to Order and Welcome. Joe O’Brien called the meeting to order at 6:01 p.m. to adopt the Agenda. Joe added review contract to New Business 7.C. The Agenda was adopted with the change.
2. Review and approval of minutes of previous meeting(s). Minutes from the December meeting were approved.
3. Review and approval of financial statements. The financial reports for December were approved.
4. Customer Comments. A new couple at 12 Maple Ridge complained of dirty water. Mike went up and flushed blow off across driveway. We haven’t heard back from them.
Joe heard from Andy Forsberg at the Fire Department. They had 2” of water on the floor. The container blew apart on their filter and they got a replacement. They were able to bypass to fix the problem.
5. Operations Report.
Operator’s Report.
i. Water usage. ________ gal/day
ii. Test Results and Testing.
Bacteria results negative.
Fluoride results within tolerance.
Routine testing and operations.
Mike and Mark flagged the rest of the poles for GMP.
The Board had a question on the other notes of the December monthly operations report. Was the water coming out of the overflow pipe fixed when the Maple Ridge cistern was drained?
6. Old Business.
A. Nothing new on Mill Development update.
B. Nothing new on United Church.
C. No new allocations.
7. New Business.
A. Joe spoke with Paula, who did the cleaning on the cistern. The tank cleanings for Maple Ridge and Poker Hill are on the calendar for April 24/25 and April 26/27. The gasket will need to be replaced at the entrance door. Joe will see about preordering the gasket. Joe will talk with Lance to find out how long it will take to empty the tanks.
B. Joe will ask Mike Johnson where it was left with the three houses on Maple Ridge with the water pressure.
C. Simon Operation Services, Inc., provided us with a contract. Joe said they had a good reputation and have been in business for a long time. Joe will have them coordinate with Brian. We pump the end of the line and they pump the whole system. Tanner asked about the 15% surcharge. They are on call 24 hrs. They are also running the Foothills system.
Joe said it was Champlin’s responsibility to fix the Mission system.
A motion was made to approve the contract for a three-year term. The motion was approved. Joe will send the signed contract to Lance. Joe will also get their contact information. We need to pay attention to what is billed.
Tanner asked about the customer charge on the GMP bills. We are one customer and are getting billed on both bills. Can we get a refund of the charge on one bill?
8. Next Regular Meeting. Next regular meeting February 7, 2023 at 6:00 p.m.
9. Review and Approve Bills. Bills were reviewed and approved.
Adjournment. The regular meeting was adjourned at 6:40 p.m.
