1. Call to Order and Welcome. Joe O’Brien called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. The Agenda was adopted as printed.
2. Review and approval of minutes of previous meeting(s). Minutes from the July meeting were approved.
3. Review and approval of financial statements. The financial reports for July were approved. Tanner asked about the expenses under 3200 Repairs & Maintenance.
4. Customer Comments. Joe spoke with Andy Forsberg from the Fire Department. The water at the fire station was yellow. It was black on July 1, so he ran the sink and it cleared up.
Nancy said two people wanted the CCR.
5. Operations Report.
Operator’s Report.
- Water usage. ________ gal/day
- Test Results and Testing.
Bacteria results negative.
Fluoride results within tolerance.
Routine testing and operations.
Brian has been having some chemical problems. He called Mark for his advice.
6. Old Business.
A. Nothing new on the Mill Development.
B. Nothing new on United Church.
C. Nothing new on Sanitary Survey.
D. Joe e-mailed Lane about the tank cleaning.
7. New Business.
Joe said it looked like we were making about $37,500.00 per quarter. The budget had $146,253.83 estimated income with $145,177.00 in expenses. Last year we had $120,000.00 in income in 11 months with $107,000.00 in expenses. Joe will send copies to Steve.
Tanner said it looked like income was close to expenses.
The tank cleaning estimate needs to go in the budget.
Tanner stated that we may need to raise the rates slightly.
8. Next Regular Meeting. Next regular meeting September 5, 2023 at 6:00 p.m.
9. Review and Approve Bills. Bills were reviewed and approved.
Adjournment. The regular meeting was adjourned at 6:46 p.m.
