1.   Call to Order and Welcome.  Joe O’Brien called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. to adopt the Agenda.  Joe added 7E to New Business, beaver/tree damage at control building.  The Agenda was adopted with the change.

 

2.   Review and approval of minutes of previous meeting(s).  Minutes from the November meeting were approved. 

 

3.   Review and approval of financial statements.  The financial reports for November were approved.  Nancy will check with Rob Longo as to why the numbers are not coming through.

 

4.   Customer Comments.  Joe talked with Steve Dumas.  His whole house water filter filled up with sediment and blew the canister off the housing.  There was no water, but water was on the floor.  Joe visited last week to see.

 

            Joe received two e-mails about cloudy water around the time of the flushing.

 

5.   Operations Report.

 

Operator’s Report.

  1. Water usage.  ________ gal/day
  2. Test Results and Testing.

Bacteria results negative.

Fluoride results within tolerance.

 

            Routine testing.

 

            The hydrant flushing was completed.

 

6.   Old Business.

 

A.  Nothing new on Mill Development update.  They are cleaning out the sawdust shed.

 

B.  United Underhill Church will have to do exploratory archeological digging.

 

C.  No new allocations.

 

D.   The new countertop is in the control building.

 

7.   New Business. 

 

A.  The tank cleaning will be done the third week of April, 2023.  They will be done one at a time.  Will drain down with usage, clean and then refill.

 

B.  Mike tested the water pressure per the sanitary survey.  The State wants the water pressure 40 lbs. from the outside.  Mike will retest 70 Maple Ridge next week.  Mike has not done the report yet.  Tanner asked if the cistern could be made taller.

 

C.  Mike called Joe last Friday and said Champlin was giving up all of their water systems.  They are having trouble finding certified operators.  They will continue through the month of December.  Joe called Kirk, who now works for Clearwater, but hasn’t heard back from him.

 

D.  The fire hydrant on Jacobs Hill was hit. Mike and a technician got a repair kit and fixed it quickly.

 

E.  Tanner and Joe walked down to where the beavers are cutting down trees.  The Park owns the other side.  Joe went down Sunday to get a tree off the line.  It didn’t affect the data.  Mike called ECI and they fixed the cable on Monday.  Tanner called local game warden for trapper, but has not heard back.  A total of four trees were dropped, two on the river and the big one on our wire.

 

Green Mountain Power is putting in new poles by the pump house next week.  The water lines are marked right there.  It is also marked by Dig Safe

 

8. Next Regular Meeting.  Next regular meeting January 3, 2023 at 6:00 p.m.

 

9. Review and Approve Bills.  Bills were reviewed and approved.

 

Adjournment.  The regular meeting was adjourned at 6:58 p.m.
