1.   Call to Order and Welcome.  Joe O’Brien called the meeting to order at 6:02 p.m. to adopt the Agenda.  Joe asked to add an executive session to the agenda as #9.  The Agenda was adopted.

 

2.   Review and approval of minutes of previous meeting(s).  Minutes from the March meeting were approved.

 

3.   Review and approval of financial statements.  The financial reports for March were approved.

 

4.   Customer Comments.  Received numerous calls that water was discolored.  A couple could have been from the shutdown over the weekend.  The chemical levels are fine.

 

Also received calls about people doing the meter reading.

 

5.   Operations Report.

 

Operator’s Report.

  1. Water usage.  ________ gal/day
  2. Test Results and Testing.

Bacteria results negative.

Fluoride results within tolerance.

 

            Mike is training Brian.  He is doing okay with testing.  They both did the meter readings.

 

            We will need to cut the pavement and put a new valve box at 375 Route 15.

 

            We lost power over the weekend.  A fuse was blown.  The big amp was infested with mice and shorted out.  It was discovered on Sunday afternoon.  Champlin employs a plumber, who got a new fuse and put it in.  The generator would not start after, so jumped it to start.  Mike is going to test the battery for the generator.

 

6.   Old Business.

 

A.  Nothing new on Mill Development.  Tanner said Bissonette that owns the land behind him may be coming up soon.

 

B.  Nothing new on development grant.

 

C.  No new allocations. 

 

7.   New Business. 

 

A.  Joe hasn’t heard back on the revised application.

 

B.  Brian Picotte is doing well as the new assistant operator.

 

C.  Meter reading was done at the end of March.

 

Joe fill out a State survey form about combining small water systems.  They are waiting for others to fill it out.  There is a lack of licensed operators.

 

Joe is going to call Champlin about what is included in the monthly operations.

 

8. Next Regular Meeting.  Next regular meeting May 3, 2022 at 6:00 p.m.

 

9. Review and Approve Bills.  Bills were reviewed and approved.

 

Adjournment.  The regular meeting was adjourned at 6:35 p.m.  The Board went into executive session at 6:35 to discuss a personnel matter.  The executive session ended at 6:40.
