1. Call to Order and Welcome. Joe O’Brien called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. to adopt the Agenda. The Agenda was adopted.
2. Review and approval of minutes of previous meeting(s). Minutes from the August meeting were approved.
3. Review and approval of financial statements. The financial statements for August were approved.
4. Customer Comments. Louis Wilson called about colored water. Joe returned his call and left a message, but did not hear back.
5. Correspondence. Booklets.
6. Operations Report.
Operator’s Report.
Bacteria results negative.
Fluoride results within tolerance.
7. Repairs, Maintenance, and Connections.
Kirk said they installed a new chlorine pump last week that went in easy. The spare is being held.
Kirk said the coolant was fixed on the generator and it ran three weeks. It is showing high RMP and high engine output.
Kirk said it has been pretty quiet otherwise.
Kirk talked with Joe Casill about some plumbing work at 27 Brookside Drive. He may be interested in becoming an assistant operator. He will come to the next meeting.
8. Old Business.
A. A couple e-mails on the Mill development, but nothing concrete. Kirk said they are in the design phases. We may put in a 8” line across the road to tie into Jericho Market. It may be next spring.
B. Nothing new on United Church.
C. Phil Jacobs applied for an allocation of 720 gallons for two new single-family homes on the lower hillside behind the Church. The allocation was approved.
D. Wells and pump are working well.
E. Flushing was done August 13. There was not much dirty water.
F. Kirk said they are still trying to fit in the tank inspections.
Steve said he called the State Police regarding the beaver dam. They will reach the game warden. It sounds like they will take care of it.
9. New Business.
A. Every town has applied for the recovery grant. We have applied in both Jericho and Underhill. The towns haven’t been told how much. We will look at the capital plan.
B. Kirk met with Marc and the owner of the construction company on the hydrant that was knocked over. It had a break away flange, which has been fixed.
C. The sidewalk pavers have been paving over bearings and curb stops and are responsive to what Marc is telling them. Marc is keeping a close eye.
D. Kirk said Park Street is not being paved this year. Courtland will do the service line for $11,000.00. It would be nice to tie in when they do the road. Joe will talk to Brad Holden.
E. Kirk said the meter replacement is $225.00 for radio. $125.00 touchpad with radio box. They all have touchpads. They do have radio reads. Kirk will get a couple. They are eight weeks out on inventory. They have the same frequency as the hand held.
10. Next Regular Meeting. The annual meeting is October 12, 2021 at 6:00 p.m., following by the regular monthly meeting.
11. Review and Approve Bills. Bills were reviewed and approved.
Adjournment. The regular meeting was adjourned at 6:42 p.m.
