1.   Call to Order and Welcome.  Joe O’Brien called the meeting to order at 6:02 p.m. to adopt the Agenda.  The Agenda was adopted.

 

2.   Review and approval of minutes of previous meeting(s).  Minutes from the November meeting were approved. 

 

3.   Review and approval of financial statements.  The financial statements for November were approved.

 

4.   Customer Comments.  Khadka said they sold the property in June or July and were not paying the current bill.  They did not call for a final reading.  Will try to ascertain the new owner from the Town Clerk.

 

5.   Operations Report.

 

Operator’s Report.

  1. Water usage.  43,297 gal/day
  2. Test Results and Testing.

Bacteria results negative.

Fluoride results within tolerance.

 

Kirk said the line tracer pinpointed the leak at the dance studio.  Looks like it was an abandoned line to the trailer.  They will pull out, wrap and bury.  Courtland is busy, but have put it on the schedule for Tuesday.  Joe will confirm with Goff.  The driveway will be inaccessible while the work is being done.  Kirk will put notes on the doors of the two houses affected.

 

Things were pretty good the rest of the month.

 

6.   Old Business.

 

A.  Nothing new on Mill Development.  It is on the DRB agenda for spring.

 

B.  Nothing new on United Church.

 

C.  No allocations.

 

D.  The tank inspection will be in the spring.

 

E.  We will let Park Street go and reevaluate.

 

7.   New Business. 

 

A.  Wayne is working on the application to go through Water Resources.  The loan should be forgiven and becomes a grant.  Kirk will reach out for the service agreement.

 

B.  Not discussed.

 

C.  We should look at where to spend additional money – hydrants priority, tank painting, new couplings on hydrants, storage building repairs, and extending the lines.  Will need a bigger building, bigger pump and equipment.  The building is not big enough for a bigger pump.

 

D.  Kirk will be at River Road the 14th.  Will ask Marc or Andy for help.

 

E.  Kirk said John is working randomly.  Kirk will ask him if he wants to stop.  We need to find somebody.  Andy will ask Andy if he wants to come back.

 

8. Next Regular Meeting.  Next regular meeting January 4, 2022 at 6:00 p.m.

 

9. Review and Approve Bills.  Bills were reviewed and approved.
