1.   Call to Order and Welcome.  Joe O’Brien called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. to adopt the Agenda, which was approved.

 

2.   Review and approval of minutes of previous meeting(s).  Minutes from the October meeting were approved.

 

3.   Review and approval of financial statements.  The financial reports for October were approved.

 

4.   Customer Comments.  Peter Giese wanted his water shut off, but Andy said he solved his own problem.  The shutoff was in his basement next to the meter.

 

Andy had a request from the leader of a Cub Scouts troop to paint the hydrants for us. 

 

Mike spoke with Zambarano for water at old library.

 

Gray had complaints of _________.  May have been due to CL2 levels.

 

5.   Correspondence

 

A.  Newsletters

 

6.   Operations Report.

 

Operator’s Report.

  1. Water usage.  41,787 gal/day
  2. Test Results and Testing.

Bacteria results negative.

Fluoride results within tolerance.

 

7.   Repairs, Maintenance, and Connections.

 

Andy said the chloride pump is good.

 

Andy said the flushing was done on the first day, except for Raceway, which was done the second day.  The Jeri Hill apartments hydrant was not done as it was flooded.

 

8.   Old Business.

 

  1. Nothing new on Mill Development.

 

B. 

 

C.  The Maple Ridge work is done.  The crown ditching stayed up during the storm and the stone held.

 

D.  Marc said there are three houses on Bartlett Lane and one uphill that have 30 lb. pressure.  He said it is an opportune time to extend the 4” line to run all the way down Bartlett Lane.  He spoke to Josh Whitehill about boring under the road to bring water to his lot.  It will cost $4,500.00 to $5,000.00 to get across.  The work would start the end of this month or beginning of December.  Steve made a motion to allow Poker Hill drilling to extend 4” line across Poker Hill Road for continuation to Bartlett Lane.  The motion was approved.

 

E.  PFOA tests were good.  Do not need to do for another five years.

 

9.   New Business. 

 

A.  We will wait on the 2020 project planning until December.

 

B.  The well dynamics have improved.  The pump should be replaced.  Layne would have to have the road improved to get the crane in place.  Andy said he cut off the edge so the river is three times as wide and not as deep.  Marc said he could talk with Spafford regarding availability and pricing.  Marc was given permission to go ahead with Spafford.

 

C.  The Martelle allocation request is to change from a print shop to two two-bedroom units.  Marc said the plan needs changes before it can be approved.  Steve made a motion for the allocation approval only, which was approved.  Joe will contact them with the next step.

 

10. Next Regular Meeting.  Next regular meeting December 3, 2019 at 7:00 p.m.

 

11. Review and Approve Bills.  Bills were reviewed and approved.

 

Adjournment.  The regular meeting was adjourned at 7:40 p.m.
