1. Call to Order and Welcome. Joe O'Brien called the meeting to order at 7:45 p.m. to adopt the Agenda, which was approved.

2. Review & approval of previous minutes. Minutes from the September meeting were approved.

3. Review & approval of financial statements. The financial reports were approved at the annual meeting.

4. Customer Comments. None.

5. Correspondence.

A. Letter from Phase IV waiver application, due December 1.

6. Operations Report.

A. Operator's Report.

• i.                    Water usage. 40,867 gal/day

1. ii.                  Test Results and Testing.
   Bacteria results negative.
   Fluoride results within tolerance.

7. Repairs and Maintenance.

1. Marc said brush had been cut down on Vermont Farmhouse Road.
2. Marc said Joe Allaire removed beaver traps. Marc dug out the beaver dam.
3. Marc said there was problems with the chlorine pump. Mike rebuilt once. Mike then went on vacation and Marc rebuilt again. The pump is maintaining chlorine levels. Marc stated the LMI pumps do not like chlorine. He supplied the Trustees with a sheet on peristaltic pumps at a cost of approximately $3,400.00. He suggesting purchasing the pump and returning the LMI pump. Jason made a motion to purchase the peristaltic pump, which was approved.
   1. Marc said the curb stop on Willow Lane was located. There are 3 or 4 others to locate.
   2. Marc said some of the K-11 hydrants have been fixed. There are three left. He has ordered new parts. The hydrant on Meadow Lane needs to be replaced. The cost may be $10,000.00 - $20,000.00.
   3. Marc stated the Legislature made a change in 2016 to charge for work permits on Route 15 at $100.00. Marc suggested the Trustees write to the Legislators that they not pay the State for rights given in the charter.

 

8. Old Business.

1. Marc met with Greg Tatro and told him it would be $1,100.00 to change the line to the Union Bank.
2. Marc has not heard from Spafford. He will call Lane Pump to do pump test.
3. Marc purchased the licenses for Formsdoc.com.

9. New Business.

1. Dwight would like to get done as Water Meter Reader. A notice will be typed up and sent with quarterly bills.
2. A simple audit to be done for the transition of the Clerk/Treasurer was discussed and will be discussed at a later date.
3. A motion was made by Jason to pay a $300.00 donation to the United Church of Underhill for use of the meeting space, which was approved.
4. Joe spoke with Jim Carter about using a section of the GAR Hall for storage. Joe and Marc will look at the space.
5. Joe to write a letter authorizing the signors be changed on the checking account and safe deposit box.
6. Joe stated that Jane Maheux would be paid $20.00 an hour for her time during the transition period.
7. Jason made a motion to move the monthly meeting to the first Tuesday of the month instead of the first Monday of the month. It will be discussed at a later date.

10. Next Regular Meeting. Next regular meeting November 1, 2018 at 7:00 PM.
