1. Call to Order and Welcome. Joe O’Brien called the meeting to order at 7:04 p.m. to adopt the Agenda, which was approved.
2. Review and approval of minutes of previous meeting(s). Minutes from the November meeting were reviewed and one change was made. The revised minutes were approved.
3. Review and approval of financial statements. The financial reports for November were approved.
4. Customer Comments.
A. Nancy spoke with Kelley Jewell and her realtor about the sale of 14 Jacobs Hill in Underhill. A final bill was sent. The account has been switched over to the new owner.
B. Joe was concerned with the loggers on Maple Ridge. Marc talked with Nate from the Town and Mike flagged the shut offs.
5. Correspondence.
A. Newsletters.
6. Operations Report.
B. Marc said the usage is down and things are going well.
C. Marc said the chemicals are fine. The new chlorine pump is working well. Mike made small adjustments for the chlorine on a regular basis.
7. Repairs, Maintenance, and Connections.
A. Marc contacted the Granite Group, now Layne, to test before the new year.
B. Marc said there was a problem with the consumer confidence report. Marc sent out and is was accepted.
C. Waivers for SOC and IOC compounds and VOC Marc said should be reduced to three years instead of one. Marc filled out and is waiting to hear back.
D. The Poker Hill generator would not start. Marc will look at it.
8. Old Business.
A. A motion was made to accept the Manning water request, which was approved.
B. Bank is digging in back of office house. Marc believes they are running gas lines.
C. Marc has heard nothing regarding the house across from BRMS. The UB connection is there when they need it. The water is turned off.
9. New Business.
A. The Board agreed to keep the wages as is:
Water tester - $1.42/day
Operator - $670.16/month; $33.45/hr.
Assistant operator - $17.58/hr.
Meter reader - $142.18/quarter
Clerk - $276.00/month
Treasurer - $416.00/month
B. Marc to circulate addendum to regulations for the 5% increase in fees.
C. Work needs to continue on curb stops.
D. Jason provided the capital improvements list, which was reviewed and commented on. Jason to prepare an updated list.
E. A motion was made to nominate Andy Forsberg as the new meter reader, which was approved. Dwight will go out with Andy for the next reading.
10. Next Regular Meeting. Next regular meeting January 8, 2018 at 7:00 PM.
11. Review and Approve Bills. Bills were reviewed and approved.
Adjournment. The regular meeting was adjourned at 8:05 p.m.
