Joe O’Brien called the meeting to order at 7:01 pm to adopt the Agenda, which was approved.

 

1. Review & approval of previous minutes. Minutes from the May meeting were approved. 

2. Review & approval of financial statements. The financial reports for the May meeting were approved. 

3. Operations Report.

    A. Operator’s report. 

        i. Water usage. 48964 gal/day 

         ii. Test Results and Testing.

             Bacteria results negative.

             Fluoride results within tolerance.            

    B. Water usage up some probably due to flushing and people using more. 

    C. The analyzer was repaired again.   

4. Customer concerns/comments   

     A.    Dr. Tortalono spoke with Joe, he was wondering what the Market coming on line would do to our capacity. Joe explained that capacity would be fine.

5. Repairs and Maintenance. 

     A.    Andy Forsberg is not going to mow this year, Marc to meet with Travis Hale to see if he would be interested. 

     B.     Discussion on hydrant painting Marc shared there is paint in the control building. He also reported that reflective paint cost $649.00 and regular is $349.00 a gallon 

 6. Old business.      

•      There is no new news on whether or not David Villeneuve will need a water connection on River Road. 
•      Think of big items for the new budget for the next meeting.

 

 7.  New Business. 

•  Issues at the Jericho Market we had approved the capacity they requested and David and Trent were told that we needed to see preliminary and final plans which we did not receive. It was noticed that we starting to put pipe in the ground so Marc stopped to talk to them. He explained how they had to do it and what pipe they needed to use as in our regulations. They did not realize this so the Engineer spoke with the Town of Jericho planning person and they told them we could not stop them from doing what they were. Marc explained to the Engineer that the Town of Jericho had no control over us we were our own Municipality. After several phone calls a pre construction meeting was set up for Tuesday at 8:00 am. Marc went over how it would have to be done all agreed, Marc will have to shut off the water from Park Street down Raceway and a valve will also be installed at no cost to us but a major benefit for us. Marc also spoke with our attorney about how our regulations read and any changes we should make. We are going to add to our allocation form that we need final design for anyone to move forward with their project. Chad needs to review and make suggestions for any changes. Jason made a motion for the Board to go ahead with the review of the regulations by Chad up to $1,000.00 the motion was so approved.                          

8. Bills to review & approve for payment. Bills were reviewed and approved.

 

9. Next Meeting Date:  Next regular meeting July 5, 2016 at 7:00 PM.

                                       

10. Adjournment. The meeting was adjourned at 8:30 PM.
