Peter Mitchell called the meeting to order at 7:03 p.m.
1. Review & approval of previous minutes. Minutes from the February meeting were approved.
2. Review & approval of financial statements. The financial reports for the February meeting were approved.
3. Operations Report.
A. Operator’s report.
i. Water usage. 58353 gal/day
ii. Test Results and Testing.
Bacteria results negative.
Fluoride results within tolerance.
B. Marc reported the Fire Department used hydrants for two fires one hydrant on Raceway Road and the other on Park Street.
C. David Villeneuve reported a water leak at the mill, Marc shut it off he will be interested to see if usage goes down with the Mill shut off.
D. Marc is pleased with how the new chemical pump is working there is a small leak in the injector he contacted Ti Sales about this.
E. Marc cleaned the chlorine analyzer this needs to be done every 3 months.
F. Marc is letting the fluoride product in the saturator deplete for cleaning. The fluoride pump needs to be rebuilt in order to get parts from the Health Department we will need to fill out a W9 and submit proof of insurance. Jason offered to test a sample for fluoride at his work. Marc needs to order flouride and chlorine
G. The new respirators and canisters have been received the pump surge control valve has issues the parts have been ordered and Mike from R E Hadley company will come up when the parts are in.
H. Marc’s license needs to be renewed Joe. Made a motion for the District to pay for the renewal motion was approved.
I. Mike has been doing chemical checks 3 times a week; he will be taking the Class 3 prep test this week.
J. A tree has fallen on the fence at the Poker Hill tank Marc and Mike will remove.
4. Customer concerns/comments.
A. David Villeneuve reported a leak at the Mill. Fiore on Vt RT 15 requested there water be shut off. Joe Grenough need water shut off to repair a frozen pipe Jane will bill him.
5. Repairs and Maintenance.
6. Old business.
A. The Underhill Sidewalk project has been taken over by the Planning Commission.
7. New Business.
A. Jason Ritter attended the meeting the Board approved him filling the vacant position of the Richard Eldred.
B. Marc purposed that the Board should purchase a new fire extinguisher and a First Aid Kit. Joe made a motion to purchase new extinguisher and a First Aid Kit the motion was approved. Marc will contact D&M about the cost of having the one they have checked out.
C. Jane will contact Dick Eldred’s children to see about getting the key and hydrant wrenches back.
8. Bills to review & approve for payment. Bills were reviewed and approved.
9. Next Meeting Date: Next regular meeting April 1, 2013 at 7:00 PM
10. Adjournment. The meeting was adjourned at 8:55 PM.
