Peter Mitchell called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM
1. Special Meeting to review Tank Painting Proposals.
2. Responses Received. Received responses from Dufrense-Henry on March 15, 2002, Forcier Aldrich & Associates on March 15, 2002, and Phelps Engineering. Inc., on March 8, 2002.
3. Proposal Contents.
A . All 3 responses were very similar as to what they would offer us for our money put out for this proposal.
B. All items were compared and it was felt that Dufrense-Henrys price was much higher than the others for the same service.
C. Forcier Aldrich and Phelps were then evaluated with the Evaluation of Proposals Schedule (see attached form) Phelps received 75 over 65 for Forcier Aldrich.
4. Proposal Acceptance. Motion made by Dick to accept Phelps bid and to start ASAP no later than April 15th and to finish by June 15th. Motion seconded by Roger. Motion approved by all and carried.
5. Other Business. It was discussed that Rob Cormier is resigning from the meter reader/ collection agents’ job. Marc to put the job description on the web page and Jane to do an insert to go in the billing.
6. Adjournment. Peter adjourned the meeting at 8:35pm.
