The monthly meeting of the Jericho-Underhill Water District was held on August 1, 1988. President, David Damkot called the meeting to order at 7:15 p.m. Those present were David, Trustee, Doug Keith and Clerk, Sue Carter.
The minutes of the last meeting were reviewed and accepted with the corrected spelling of Rober to Roger. The financial report was
reviewed and accepted.
Old Business: Palmer Lane. Doug spoke with the Owens, Speers and Greenias and they are in agreement with plans. Mr. Bleakley still will not comply. Bob Greenia spoke to Doug about delaying this project since there have been no problems on that line and right now it is costing the District nothing.
David will meet with the Fire Department officers on August 2 to discuss the use fee. Doug and Harold will also attend.
The Hudson right-of-way papers have been given to their attorney and they have sent a letter to the District attorney with some new wording and corrections. They would like a change in the actual line and if a tree has been damaged it will be replaced by trees of similar kind, size and shape. David feels that the wording should be that the District will replace, if damaged, only the trees along the fence line.
Mrs. Royce will be sending a letter to the Board requesting water for a bed and breakfast.
A letter came from the State saying that the District is no longer eligible for state monies, that they had expended all that it was eligible for. David has a bill from Webster-Martin that exceeds the money we have. David will talk with Jeff McDonald about the bill.
Bills were reviewed and signed.
It was established that October 10, 1988 will be the date for the annual meeting.
The meeting adjourned at 8:30 p.m.
