2. Review and approval of minutes of previous meeting(s). Minutes from the September meeting were approved. Steve asked if 2” or 4” was used for flushing.
3. Review and approval of financial statements. The financial reports for September were approved.
4. Customer Comments. Just a couple reports of cloudy water on Park Street.

6. Old Business.
A. Nothing new on Mill Development update.
B. Joe said nine acres were purchased by the United Church from Phil Jacobs. Three acres will be used for low-income housing, the middle three acres for common land, and the Church is keeping the other three acres. Peter Mitchell said six different tests need to be done including archeological, biological, soil testing and ground water levels. Joe thinks they have the financing in place. They need to get through the permitting process. Not sure when it is happening.
C. No new allocations.
7. New Business.
A. The proposed amount by Champlin for the tank cleaning was approved. Joe will talk with Lucas. We believe the two Maple Ridge tanks will be done at the same time. The few houses fed off the cistern may be without water.
B. We are waiting to hear back from the State on the waiver of regulations for the sanitary survey review.
C. We will really think about raising the rates next year for the budget.
D. Annual meeting review done earlier at annual meeting.
E. For the chemical pump replacement, Joe said Champlin uses the proposed replacement at some other systems. It is more digital. Steve asked about service and support. The motion to approve the Champlin proposal was approved.
Technician for generator said line isn’t big enough to get gas into generator. There are problems with starting it. It is not self-starting if the power goes off. We have a bid from Rowley to put a line in. Joe will ask what happens if it doesn’t work. Brian and Mike have been talking to Rowley.
8. Next Regular Meeting. Next regular meeting November 1, 2022.
9. Review and Approve Bills. Bills were reviewed and approved.
Adjournment. The regular meeting was adjourned at 7:25 p.m.
Respectfully submitted,
