Peter Mitchell called the meeting to order at 7:05 p.m.
- 1. Review & approval of previous minutes. Minutes from the May meeting were approved.
2. Review & approval of financial statements. The financial reports for the May meeting were approved.
3. Operations Report.
A. Operator’s report.
i. Water usage. 59055 gal/day
ii. Test Results and Testing.
Bacteria results negative.
Fluoride results within tolerance.
B. Ti Sales sent a loaner hand held unit to read meters so we could figure out if ours are not working correct.
C. When flushing was done Palmer Lane was missed, will schedule it.
D. All secondary containment has been installed. New fluoride pump not hooked up to flow meter yet. John Champlin changed the selector switch.
E. Beavers are in the ditch by the old pump house, Marc will ask Game warden to trap then the willows in the ditch will need to be removed. Marc is asking Andy Forsberg if he can do this the Board authorized 4 hours for this project.
4. Customer concerns/comments.
- A. Matthew Morel shared his concerns about the outstanding bill he has acquired by purchasing the Brian Kelley property. Jane asked if he had a Title search and that he should go back to the lawyer who did it since it should have been taken care of at his closing.
- B. David Villeneuve came to give an update on the sawmill property Mike Como wants to lease space in the big garage to put in a supermarket. He owns 3 other supermarkets and David will get water usage from him at those stores.
5. Repairs and Maintenance.
- A. Broken meter at 407 Vt Rt 15 has been replaced.
6. Old Business.
- A. Peter to contact Phil Jacobs since we have not received a water line easement for Jacobs Hill.
- B. Joe cut the birches and trees by the water tower. Jason painted the old pump house.
7. New Business.
- A. Jane to check with Dwight to have meters read in time to put the flyer in the mailing about the CCR.
- B. Joe O’Briens water line was dug up to the insulation when the Town was working on the road. Marc is worried about the possibility of freezing. McDevitts’s were going to contact the town as well as Joe.
- C. The Board authorized Peter to sign the Grant form from the State this renews our fluoride contract with them.
- D. Peter presented information about a Solar Panel field by the old pump house we would get 5% for leasing the land or pay 10% less for power. The Board discussed it and decided not to get involved.
8. Bills to review & approve for payment. Bills were reviewed and approved.
9. Next Meeting Date: Next regular meeting July 7, 2014
10. Adjournment. The meeting was adjourned at 8:40 PM.
